Bonding bunnies

Over the years we have successfully bonded many bunnies. Rabbits are very sociable animals and should be allowed companionship from another rabbit.

Rabbits which live outside on their own, are often very sad and lonely and long for companionship and a cuddle from another bunny, a mate to play with, somebody to dine with, somebody to give and receive affection from, four walls a visit twice a day from owners is not enough, a rabbit deserves more!

Bonding bunnies sometimes can be easy, some partnerships are more challenging! Time and patience, is required at all times, knowledge, experience and understanding rabbits body language is a great advantage.

Bonding bunnies is quite a rewarding task, and many owners notice how much happier their rabbit seems to be to have a new friend.

We sometimes have rescue bunnies/babies looking for lovely homes, if you have a neutered lonely bunny, please get in touch regarding bonding.

Bonding can sometimes be achieved in an hour, other times it can take a couple of bonding sessions,

If you are interested in bonding, we normally ask that you book your rabbit in for a bonding holiday for 3-4 days,

which hopefully allows time for two bunnies to become best friends.

normal boarding rates apply + bonding sessions @ £10.00 per session. ( normally 2-3 required)

Bonding holidays seem very popular, as it is time consuming and requires different facilities/ rooms/ and knowledge to successfully bond two bunnies together.

We require any rabbit visiting Bramble Bunnies, to have a current vaccination certificate for VHD and myxomatosis.

Rox, Thistle & Heather, having a rest after playing hide and seek!
